Following a major redevelopment of our well-established Practice, Wood Veterinary Group are looking to expand their clinical team and are seeking a motivated Small Animal Vet to join our progressive, well-equipped practice.
We are located in Gloucestershire which is centrally placed with excellent transport links and sits right on the edge of the Cotswolds with outstanding natural countryside and amenities right on the doorstep.
We are looking to expand our dedicated team of 20 vets at our recently refurbished practice sites, with state-of-the-art facilities. Amongst the usual equipment we also have CT and advanced theatre and diagnostic facilities at our main site plus an in-house laboratory with dedicated technicians.
You will have the support of a team of vets and nurses with wide ranging clinical interests (including various certificate holders). Our consulting rooms number 10 with the option of having a cat-only consulting clinic for those who have an interest in a feline caseload.
We also have one branch practice which is consulting only, additionally staffed by a nurse and a receptionist and with the support of our main hospital. This is an optional component for those who enjoy variety of location/ pace.
From an interpersonal team perspective we hold regular events, including a summer social and Christmas party plus planned and ad hoc events in between. For the last 3 years we have had the pleasure of engaging a visiting pancake chef on Shrove Tuesday, we enjoy informal sweets and treats and have engaged in golf driving range excursions, bowling and darts; there really is something for everyone!
