Veterinary Nurse – Dunedin Vets – Tranent, East Lothian (10 miles East of Edinburgh)
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our supportive team. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with suitable experience to support our newly qualified nurses. You will need to be a good communicator, have empathy with clients and their pets, and a passion to extend your range of experience, alongside our like-minded team. We are a great, friendly, social bunch of Vets, nurses, and support staff. Our team consists of 7 Vets, 7 Registered Vet Nurses, and 2 ACA’s.
We are a busy RCVS accredited small animal practice based in East Lothian, which is a great place to be, close to Edinburgh, as well as the coast and hills. Our practice has a full range of surgical and medical facilities, and we are proud to be a long-standing Veterinary Nursing training practice. Here’s some of our fantastic facilities:
- Comprehensive surgical facilities including dedicated op theatre
- X-rays and Diagnostic Ultrasound
- Medical examination facilities
- Laboratory service – same day blood test results
- Dog ward
- Cat ward
This is a permanent full-time position of up to 37 hours a week, 4-days a week, with 1 in 4 Saturdays. There’s no out-of-hours and the potential for overtime.
