Registered Veterinary Nurse – Clifton Lodge Veterinary Group – Hartlepool, Billingham, Sedgefield & Horden

Clifton Lodge Vets is a large 4 branch practice based around Teeside, with the largest site being at Hartlepool. Although we have grown in size, we still have a loyal, friendly and approachable team that want to provide the best care and enjoy the job.

We are looking for Registered Veterinary Nurses to join us as we continue to expand.

Salary up to £30,000 pro rata

Hours can be discussed, whether that’s full time (8am -7pm 4 days a week) or part time. Some share of the Saturday rota would be ideal. We don’t work Sundays or bank holidays.

We have new blood machines, ultrasound, digital xrays including dental xrays, and perform both simple and more advanced procedures such as orthopaedic surgery. We have exciting plans for a possible move with new CT machine later this year and will also be cat friendly and working towards achieving cat friendly status. We are starting to grow our exotics patients as well.

The role is varied, including nurse consultations, theatre work and some schedule 3 procedures if desired.

We are looking preferably for an experienced RVN, however newly qualified will be considered if you share in our values. We need a like minded individual who is motivated and has a strong work ethic. Must be happy to be a clinical coach either straight away or at some point in the future. We have many clients who have been with us for years so we need someone conscientious and keen to build a rapport with clients and develop their own role within the practice. We encourage all our colleagues to grow the practice by focusing on what they are passionate about and passing on that passion to the rest of the team. Several of our RVNs are working towards certificates such as medicine, anaesthesia and surgical nursing.
