About us:
Our state-of-the-art flagship practice is located in Lanark; a bustling market town located in the beautiful lower Clyde Valley. We have recently achieved Investors in the Environment Silver Level Award, currently progressing towards the highest level ‘Green’ award.
At Clyde Veterinary Group, our team of experts have purpose-built premises at Lanark market, including our equine referral hospital, with an experienced ambulatory service. We also added our Stirling branch for our farm and equine teams in 2014. The practice now provides first opinion vet services to central Scotland form Perth to Abington and Glasgow to Edinburgh. As one of the largest equine veterinary practices in Scotland, we pride ourselves in providing 24/7 care for all types of horses, ponies and donkeys. Facilities have stabling for 11 horses, an outdoor ménage and field, a large examination area with a non-slip floor for routine examinations and custom-made stocks for endoscopy, reproductive examinations, dental work and standing surgery.
The Role:
We are looking for a permanent, Equine Ambulatory Vet with previous experience in practice or a similar ambulatory role to join our friendly, dedicated team of Vets, based at our purpose-built Lanark practice. A full-time role is available, including an ‘on-call’ component, but we are open to considering flexible working.

Lanark is surrounded by beautiful Scottish landscapes, a lovely place with beautiful boutiques and a good sense of community; Perfect for young families and people wanting to move somewhere quieter. If you enjoy the hustle and bustle of a city, Edinburgh or Glasgow are easily within a 60-minute drive, and Edinburgh airport within 30 miles. There’s something for everyone!
