Clinical Director or Senior Vet – Eastgate Veterinary Group – Thetford
Would you like to help our practice grow and improve? We’re looking for a clinical director or senior vet to work with our team to help make Eastgate Vets the best we can be!
You could be based at our Thetford branch and working with Jo (our existing clinical director) and Jess and Jane (our senior vets) to manage our 3 branches (with the other being in the beautiful market towns of Bury St Edmunds and Mildenhall). We are in a great position for getting into London, Cambridge or Norwich, with good rail links to the rest of the UK, and with Stansted and Southend airports both in easy reach.
We are a practice who strive to always do the best that we can for our team, our patients and our clients. Our full-time vets work a 4 day week (36 hours) and participate in a 1 in 10-12 out of hours rota (however, weekday evenings are on for inpatient duty – no client calls – and weekends just involve 8.30-5pm Saturday and 9-12 Sunday) with a Friday off the week after a weekend on call. Usually our current clinical directors get 1 day a week of admin time, but this is flexible if you feel that you need more, or if you’d rather spend more of your time in clinical work.
We’re proud to be supported by our head office at VetPartners, who enable us to invest in the practice and in our staff. Certificates are supported for those who want to go further into a particular area, and we currently have certificate holders in Ophthalmology and Emergency and Critical Care.
Package also includes:
- Generous £1750 CPD allowance (plus 4 days), although will consider over this level

Salary starting from £55-70k depending on experience, plus you will be reimbursed with extra pay for out-of-hours work and second on-call weekend duties.
