Becoming a vet in the UK

Supporting vets moving to the UK

We recognise that great veterinary talent is truly international, and welcome vets from around the world!

The UK is an amazing place to live and work, and we have some fantastic opportunities for veterinary surgeons across our family of small animal, farm, equine mixed and referral practices.

We can offer flexible hours and rotas, giving you plenty of time to explore all that the UK has to offer.

How we can help

As an accredited, A-rated sponsor, we can help you move to the UK, and are proud to be able to offer fully supported and funded Visa sponsorship. To date, we have supported more than 400 Visa applications.

To start, it may be worth familiarising yourself with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons registration information for overseas vets.

We can provide attractive relocation packages, including flights, accommodation and a vehicle, helping to ease any stress of moving.

We help our colleagues develop the knowledge, skills and competencies to succeed in their current and future roles, and our working environment encourages everyone to thrive and reach their potential.

We also offer a generous CPD allowance and encourage and support certificates.
