Tim Shearman
I am Group Director of Culture and People at VetPartners, overseeing all aspects of how we care for our people and the environment in which they work.
Among the areas I oversee are wellbeing initiatives, training and development, ESG and Health and Safety which bring together many of the different central support function teams within the business that help to shape and maintain VetPartners’ culture.
I graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2000 and have an RCVS Certificate in Veterinary Cardiology. I was a vet and a partner in Minster Vets in York, one of our founding practices, before joining VetPartners’ central support team in 2015.
I have a black and white cat called Jeff Junior (named by my children), and a Cockerpoo called Lily, and I enjoy driving, maintaining and rebuilding cars, scuba diving, running, mountain biking, and reading if there’s ever time.
What I love most about VetPartners is our culture of warmth and belonging. As part of the founding group, helping to maintain our values, such as supporting each other and working in collaboration, is extremely important to me.
