Lynwood Vets is a 5 branch, small animal, RCVS accredited group based on the South Coast. All branches work closely together, with frequent opportunities to get together both socially and professionally.

Our hospital site in Wimborne hosts Vets Now so in-house OOH care is provided for our patients.
Lynwood Vets are an accredited Veterinary Nurse training practice with Student Veterinary Nurses work alongside our qualified team and also attending the Lynwood School of Veterinary Nursing.
The Role:
Based at our Wimborne branch (with cover at Verwood if required). Wimborne is our main hospital site with a mixture of day procedures, ops and medical work ups as well as inpatients who remain with us for the duration of their treatment.
- Salary – from £34,000 depending on experience
- 12-month FTC to cover maternity leave
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Either 4- or 5-day week offered
- Shifts between 8am and 7pm Mon – Fri. Sat 8am – 1pm
- No OOH
We’re looking for a friendly, supportive and patient RVN to lead our nursing team, the successful candidate will have prior experience leading a clinical team. This is a floor-based role where you’ll promote clinical excellence to align with our strong values. Day-to-day you’ll be supporting the nursing team and mentoring less experienced team members, Nurse rota and cover management, as well as working within the team on the nursing rota (admin / float time allocated).
Our team:
Our friendly and enthusiastic nursing team consists of 12 RVN’s, 3 SVN’s, 3 ACAs and 6 receptionists as well as on site administrators and Practice Manager, typically working alongside 4-5 Vets a day.

With great links to motorways, public transport and its own airport, it’s easy getting to Wimborne by air, ferry, car, coach or train (only 97 mins from London).
