We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic Farm Veterinary Surgeon, confident with OOH and obstetrical work to join us.
We are an ambulatory farm animal practice, with a varied caseload, including proactive commercial consultancy work, and individual case workups, meaning there is something for everyone.
We pride ourselves on the strength of our supportive, diverse and inclusive team which comprises of 4 Farm Vets (including one working for a master’s in nutrition), 2 ATT/Techs plus Administrative Assistants. We support all types of CPD opportunities, including skills training, conference, and further academic qualifications.
The Role:
We are looking for someone who enjoys a varied caseload, working as part of team, and client engagement. The confidence, experience and skills to operate sole charge for out of hours are required.
The role includes normal dairy, beef, sheep, and smallholder work including camelids. Also, health planning, consultancy, fertility, individual medicines and surgical cases, plus obstetrical and other emergencies.
- Permanent
- Full-time – 8am-5pm, 4.5 days per week (part time considered)
- Weeknight and weekend out of hours rota shared equally – 1:4 (time in lieu is given for weekends worked)
