Here at Abbey Veterinary group, we have a new vacancy for a Veterinary Surgeon, at our Chaddesden and Chellaston Branches.

 

Practice:

Abbey Veterinary Group is a two-site small animal practice located in the East and South of Derby. We pride ourselves in providing a high standard of first opinion care. We have a fantastic team of 8 vets, supported by brilliant RVNs, SVNs, ACAs and front of house team members. We have a surgery certificate holder and veterinary surgeons completing medicine and dentistry certificates.

Area:

Abbey Veterinary Group is well established within the community of Chaddesden and Chellaston, Derby and provides fantastic care to thousands of pets every year. The role includes working primarily at the Chaddesden Branch, located just off the A52, with shifts at the Chellaston branch once to twice a week.

The Role:

Our full-time veterinary surgeons work 40 hours over a four day week, with weekends in addition, although we are flexible with hours and can accommodate part time or full time candidates. We would expect you to join our weekend rota which is 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (9:00-13:00), this is not sole charge – two vets work each Saturday morning shift. We are looking for a veterinary surgeon with a strong general practice skill set to join our friendly team.
