We’re looking for an enthusiastic ECC Night Vet to come and join our OOH team at our First Opinion and Small Animal hospital for weekend and holiday cover.

Situated in the historical market town of Bridgwater, you’ll have easy access to the coast and only be an hour’s drive from bustling Bristol. Not to mention the proximity to Glastonbury!

Working in a Centre of Excellence, you’ll be part of an innovative team that prides itself on its high clinical standards and supportive ethos.

We’re an RCVS (Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons) accredited Small Animal Hospital, the highest accredited standard awarded to veterinary practices, achieved by only 7% of accredited veterinary practice in the UK.

You would be working alongside a dedicated Night Nurse, a Twilight Phone Triage Nurse and Twilight ACA, with occasionally an additional Twilight Vet.

Rota:

  • Friday and Saturday, 7pm-8.30am (2 nights) two weekends on and then two off.
  • Able to pick additional night shifts for holiday cover if wanted

However, hours and days can be discussed, and we can be flexible for the right candidate.

Benefits include:

  • Salary up to £70,000 pro rata, depending on experience
  • 6.6 weeks paid holiday including bank holidays
  • £1750 CPD Allowance per annum

  • Focus on employee wellbeing
  • Career progression opportunities
